Hanuman Ansh has crossed ₹300 crore worldwide after 42 days in theatres, extending one of the most unusual box-office runs of 2026. The Neem Karoli Baba-inspired spiritual drama now stands at a reported ₹309.15 crore worldwide, including ₹287.40 crore gross in India and ₹21.75 crore overseas.
On Day 42, Thursday, September 17, the film collected an estimated ₹6.25 crore net in India, up about 4.2% from ₹6 crore on Day 41. Its cumulative India net collection is reported at ₹243.38 crore. These figures are trade estimates and may be revised as collections are consolidated.
Hanuman Ansh box office collection on Day 42
The headline milestone is the worldwide total of ₹309.15 crore. The film has now moved comfortably past ₹300 crore globally while approaching ₹250 crore net in India, a remarkable position for a release that began on a much smaller scale than the year's biggest star-led films.
Week 6 became the biggest part of the story
Hanuman Ansh added a reported ₹80.25 crore net in India during Days 36 to 42. The week began with ₹10.50 crore, jumped to ₹18.50 crore on Day 37 and ₹22.50 crore on Day 38, before settling at ₹8.25 crore on both Days 39 and 40, ₹6 crore on Day 41 and ₹6.25 crore on Day 42.
That late-run performance is especially notable because films normally lose substantial momentum as they move deeper into their theatrical window. Hanuman Ansh instead expanded dramatically after a modest start as word of mouth strengthened.
How unusual has the growth been?
The film's trajectory has been the reverse of a conventional blockbuster. Reported weekly collections were tiny in its opening fortnight before accelerating sharply in later weeks. By Week 6, it was still producing daily numbers that would be meaningful even for a much newer release.
Its reported production budget is around ₹2 crore, although worldwide box-office gross should not be treated as producer profit. Exhibitor and distributor shares, taxes, marketing and other costs all affect how theatrical revenue is ultimately divided.
Hanuman Ansh is now among 2026's biggest Hindi films
Multiple current box-office reports place Hanuman Ansh among the three highest-grossing Hindi films of 2026 worldwide. Its achievement is particularly striking because the film does not rely on the kind of A-list star cast or opening-weekend scale normally associated with a ₹300 crore global total.
What happens next
The immediate milestone is ₹310 crore worldwide, which is now less than ₹1 crore away based on the latest reported total. Attention will then shift to how strongly the film holds in its seventh week as new September releases compete for screens.
The film's overseas rollout has also widened its revenue base. With ₹21.75 crore reported from international markets, overseas business is now a meaningful part of the total rather than a marginal addition to the domestic run.
Box-office figures in this article are based on trade and media estimates available on September 18, 2026 and may change when newer or producer-certified totals become available.
